Uncle Tai’s is voted Best Chinese for the 6 years in a row!

“Having come from New York over two decades ago, one of the great disappointments in Boca Raton and surrounding communities is the lack of quality Chinese food. I was very spoiled in New York where Chinese restaurants were on every other corner and always great. I discovered Uncle Tai’s when I arrived since it was close to my office at the time and we would go for lunch, always excellent! I moved on to another business location and now I go with family and friends at least once a month for dinner. Yes, it is more expensive than your local take out Chinese, but the food is excellent, so superior to any other Chinese restaurant I have found in Boca. The staff knows me and are always attentive. The chef will do custom dishes if at all possible for those of us who like more veggies, etc.”

“Uncle Tai’s is always a favorite for get-togethers with business associates and friends as well as staff luncheons and out of town guests. It is a “go to” destination because the food is ALWAYS wonderful and the service is normally very good, as well. Sometimes, everyone at the table orders the Crispy Beef because it is just delicious every time. The fried rice is not greasy–which can be the case with some oriental eateries. An all-around great experience every time!”

“The days of going to Chinese buffets are far behind me, and it’s been a while since I’ve gone out for any kind of Chinese food in general. Thankfully, one of my friends told me that Uncle Tai’s is the BEST you can get in Boca — and it’s nothing like those buffets we’re all used to. It’s upscale, fine-dining, with a huge variety of menu items that’ll please just about anyone. I am a Pescatarian and had no trouble satisfying my hunger with the edamame lettuce wraps, jumbo shrimp and scallops and sauteed eggplant dishes. The lettuce wraps were surprisingly delicious and I highly recommend getting that as an appetizer. The shrimp and scallop dish was cooked Szechuan style, which means a bit on the spicier side, but I asked for mine mild and it was perfect. I loved the combination of seafood, zucchini, squash and peppers. It was definitely enough for 2-3 people! The eggplant cooked in garlic sauce (also mixed with peppers) was also enough for 2-3 people to share, and was cooked fantastically. The service is also impeccable, and the atmosphere is super warm and friendly yet still intimate enough to enjoy for date night. I’d 100% return, and definitely recommend!”
